Loading ...- Never spray cleaner directly onto the mirror – the drips could seep into the silver backing and damage it. Instead spray it on a soft, clean cloth or paper towel and wipe.
- Another way to gel shiny mirrors is to moisten finely powdered chalk or talcum powder with water, apply the paste on the minor and let it dry, then rub off with a clean rag.
- To make your own cleaning solution: Fill a spray bottle with water, vinegar and household ammonia – shake before use. To discourage fogging of bathroom mirrors rub a cake of soap across, then shine with a cloth.
