- Introduce your child to the topic called ‘Organize’, try to give him examples or read articles related to organizing.
- Make your child aware of the benefits of organizing his work. Explain to him politely that, if he finishes his homework fast, he will have extra time to play.
- Let your child know what you expect from him. Assure your child that you are always there if something goes wrong.
- Teach your child to plan his work, try to give him many ideas and allow him to take his own choices.
- Encourage your child for his progress and keep telling him to do much better in his work.
- Try to understand the thought process of your child and ask him questions which help you understand his views.
- One of the best ways to teach your child to be organized is by supporting him and sharing your own experiences.
- Start giving your child responsibilities so that he is able to understand his duties.
By following these steps your child will develop a sense of independence and will learn to become a more organized person.
